Shotguns in Outland

Anyone else remember that old Connery flick?

What's bugging me is that I can't quite figure out what shotgun they used. It was clearly a cut-down civilian hunting semi-auto, but it appeared that they were loaded from a port cut into the left lower side of the receiver (and ejected out the right).

Anyone?

Never seen the movie, but that sounds like a Browning B2000.

Yup, that was definitely it. 12 gauge, stock chopped off into a crude pistol grip, and barrel cut down to the end of the fore-end. Some with infrared scopes as well..
