^^ Back in the eighties, I had a Crosman 357 revolver, and that's about what I got out of it. I don't know if the current crop of them still break open at the top to load, but mine did. Eventually, the tab that locked it closed broke off. The new ones with the fake brass cases look pretty cool, at least, in the packages at Wal-Mart.
I just picked up yesterday a Gamo PT-85 from Wal-Mart, for $69. I have not yet tried it out, but I do understand that the use of some of the gas to cycle the slide (purely for simulation of that of a cartridge gun's action) severely reduces the "shots-per-bottle" count. I figure I'll be okay if I get 20 or so.
