Was offer a group of 5 PB guns today.
4 revolvers and a musket. the musket is a 58 cal made in italy almost looks like my musketoon and has the baynet lug on the side. its in about 90% condition.
3 of the revolvers are italians also. one looks like a kit gun that was nevered blued and has a light rust finish to it and is missing one nipple. two of them are not bad but the action seems funny like the hammer drops to lightly. the other of the two has some nice engraving and seems pretty nice. The final one is a ruger old army in stainless in like 98%.

Was offered them all for $500 and was thinking about it this way. The rifle has got to be worth about $150 and the ruger $300 to $350 but the others are ? what do you think and am I way off on my thinking.

Be sure all the revolvers are STEEL FRAMED and not shot loose if brass framed. If there is a lot of front to back movement (>.01") of the cylinder with the wedges tapped in they would be worthless.

Well worthless is a vague term. One of the advantages of the Colt system over the Remington system is that the barrel can be set back fairly easily by removing some metal from the lug below the rammer and refitting the wedge.

Junkman,
No real disagreement. I just figured that with a wobbly/loose cylinder pin anyone would have a lot of work to do to salvage a gun whose worth is (here's a better phrase) "greatly diminished".
