I have 3 21s, and not a single kaboom from them or the other 6 or 7 glocks I have. They are tools for LE and Mil, civillians alike. Don't have to worry about scratching em up, go to work pistols.
My G21 is my SHTF pistol. You can't argue with 14rounds of 45acp. Mine has been 100% reliable. It will really reach out there too. Sure they can KB "IF" you use reloads, cruddy electrode-plated or lead bullets. If you want to reload for your 21 just buy an aftermarket barrel! KB potential problem fixed!
For a tac .45 they are great. I sold my G30sf due to size and weight but could never bring myself to sell the 21. I must say that if you don't need the high cap-mag I'd go with a sig p220. They just shoot so nice. But for SHTF you can't beat the G21.
