Should I settle for a Tri-star Cobra?

I posted a similar thread yesterday in rifles, basically I am just starting my first job and it's really difficult to find things. I had a couple of rifles on my radar but the other thing I wanted to cross off my list was a shotgun; always saw myself getting a Mossberg 500 but last few times i've done the rounds to brick and mortars the only things i'm seeing in stock are these Tri-star shotguns; there was also a batch of AR15 looking semi-autos but I wasn't really too sure about them.

The Turkish shotguns are kinda cheap, but that's a double edged sword at times. I'm looking for a tactical home defense set up, I see them in either the traditional rifle config at 20 or 18.5 inch barrels, or with more of a pistol grip stock and actual sights. I am hoping to go out tomorrow on errands anyway so if I'm around is it worth giving those Cobra's a second peak or should I just bide my time until that Mossberg actually restocks?

Price for the Cobra was 250 btw

I've not looked at the turkish shottys in a while but another option to consider would be a mossberg maverick 88. They can be had for similar prices, or cheaper, with lots of aftermarket stuff. Would be a good option if you want to get a barrel for hunting or trap shooting.

My race shotgun is a Tristar. It isn’t pretty, but I’ve got absolutely no complaints about a gun that I bought to throw in “safe” barrels and racks.

I currently own two Turkish made shotguns and used to own two more. I also own a number of semi’s that cost well north of $1k. I have had zero issues with my Turkish shotguns and wouldn’t feel handicapped if that were all I had.

I don’t own a TriStar but know a few people that do and I’d have no qualms about purchasing one.

If you get away from The High Road, people say if you are a hunter shooting a couple boxes a year, it’s okay. If you intend to shoot like a clay shooter, save your money. Users report they will self destruct.
