Hey guys, a buddy of mine owns a gun shop and has taken a deposit on a Remington 700 sps in .308, Nikon Monarch 3-9x40, Leupold rings and the person who made the deposit can not be found. He has even called the authorities and asked them to try and contact the individual. Yet, nothing. It had been 5 months and nothing. He says he will give the person another month, if not. It's mine for $500.00 for everything, what is still owed on the balance. Opinions on rifle and set up pls.

At that price, you'd be crazy NOT to buy it. Though I hope the guy who already paid for part of it shows up.

if you are saying you can get that whole rig, for 500 bucks, I would be sloppin that up with a biscuit , my man!!!! that is totally sick!!!! that is over 1000. rig if I ever heard one.
I still have a month before I get all excited. He says it's mine already, but in 30 more days. My buddy says he probably won't show, but who knows. Like I said he has sent one his police buddies over to the addres he left and he has also went by the mans address. No luck. Anthing I should change about the set up if and when I do het to pick it up?
