Tell them we will accept limitations on the 2A that are currently in place for the 1A, nothing else.

SCOTUS has ruled that there can be reasonable restrictions on the 1A.

I believe most states at that time banned concealed carry.

I hate to say this but I believe concealed carry is almost counterproductive being your plates tell if you have one. Many believe the 2nd amendment stops with a carry permit and the heck with anything else. It has created elitists who think they are so much better then a shlub who has a shotgun and rifle with no carry permit. Do you honestly believe in 1930 when you could buy a Thompson machine gun in a hardware store that a cop would bother you if you had a revolver on you?
