Ok, Ill be taking a trip late this winter to someplace that actually has winter, unlike Florida w/ our Quasi Winter. The way my jacket fits precludes me carrying my normal holster as it will print bad and be hard to access if needed

I have decided to try a Shoulder Rig but cant decide on whos, or what carry position

There is Vertical, Horizontal and muzzle high is the three position to choose from across various rigs

It seems to me muzzle high will conceal well(though Im concerned about the muzzle sticking out), but be an awkward draw, vertical is the same, great concealability but an awkward draw albeit less so than the muzzle high, and Horizontal will provide the best draw but I am worried about the muzzle potentially poking out behind my arm as well as I am carrying a full size .45

If anyone has though or preferably experience please chime in as I need to order in the next few days

Likely a Galco Miami Classic, SS-2 or a Jackass

Well I don't have any experiance with them but I've really been eyeing the Simply Rugged shoulder setup and it gives you several different carry options with one setup. I have the Cuda Simply Rugged holster and when I have some spare change I'm going to give his shoulder setup a shot. Sorry its not much help but check out his site and he's a great guy to deal with. www.simplyrugged.com

I carry a 1911 in 10mm almost daily in a Galco Jackass rig.
It is very comfortable. I also have a belt holster made by
the mentioned Simply Rugged that is very high quality, but
had to wait 7 weeks to get it.:D

Im leaning toward the jackass as well, I like the price compared to the Miami Classic, and the straps are supposedly more comfy or so ive garnered from online
