I was browsing random stuff online and found a company I'd never heard of with shooting gear and surplus stuff at extremely good prices. So I gambled and ordered some stuff. Total order cost, including shipping, was just short of 70 bucks.
The company (yes, I'm holding out and building the suspense) has zero online reviews. Nothing good, nothing bad, nothing other than their own website to indicate they even exist. So I got curious and checked my order status a few times to see if anything changed or if it was in limbo at a defunct site.
A package showed up at my door six days after I placed my order. They are located about 2 hours from my house, but for a business to get a package out delivered in less than a week isn't shabby. Plus, two of those days were Sat. and Sun. Scribbled on the packing list inside was a note:
"We are very sorry about the delay in your order. To make up for our mistake, here is 3 extra mag pouches (they actually included 4 extra) and a woodland pattern poncho liner for free. Thank you for your business and have a wonderful day."
At prices listed on their site, they threw in a third of the cost of my actual order. Deduct shipping cost and that percentage goes up a bit. As far as "surplus", items, everything i got was in nearly new condition. I will be a repeat customer as soon as i need something else they sell.
