I also have a Beretta Jetfire 950. I got it used few months ago. It was in really good condition.

I've only put about 200 rounds thru it so far, but I was impressed. It's very accurate for a pocket pistol. Dependable too. In fact I like the little gun so much that I got some reloading dies for .25 ACP...

Of course reloading the .25 isn't as easy as most other calibers, so I probably won't shoot it a whole lot...

Well, I picked up my new Colt Junior .25 this afternoon, and here is a scan of it (my digital camera is out on loan).

I went with a box of Fiocchi 50grain FMJ, tried it out at the range, and it pokes them holes just like it should.

Long live the Barking Mouse!

My two cents

I must own about fifty .25 autos, plus a bunch of tiny pistols in .22LR, .22 Long, and .22 short. I have never had a malfunction in any of my .25 pistols, but the .22s hang up frequently. Of course, all my pistols are from quality manufacturers, none of the Spanish or South American clones. It is my opinion that the .25 cartridge is far more reliable when it comes to functioning than any .22 in a small frame pistol. Two pistols which I find uncomfortable to shoot are the Walther Model 9 and the tiny Browning Baby, as their small size makes them hard to hold in a large hand, though they function perfectly. No, I would never carry one for self defense. I just collect them. In my LE experience I have seen many woundings from .25 autos, but never a fatality. I remember one case when a man pumped six .25 caliber shots into his wife, and she was still on her feet when the ambulance arrived!
