I'm interested in putting a scope on one of my k-31's and haven't made up my mind as to which setup to go with yet. So show me yours ,let me know what you think of your setup and what you might do differently .
I've got the St Marie clamp on (don't have a pic and I'm in the middle of swapping on a better scope right now). I'm right handed with a right dominant eye so I like the fact that it sticks out to the right. I canted the scope a little so I tilt the rifle a bit to hold the scope more straight up. I believe it might help gravity angle the shell ejection away from the scope a bit too since the K31 ejects straight up. I used and will use a 40mm bell with low mount rings so it's low enough that a cheek rest is unnecessary. So being as I'm a lefty do you guys think the clamp on mount would put the scope out to far to get a solid cheek weld ? I don't want to have one of those gay looking cheek pads on the stock hahahah . I don't know .... torn between the drill and tap or the scout setup ...decisions ..... Also what about those aftermarket mags, any good
