This is my Savage 110FLP-300 WinMag with a Pentax 4x12x40 in present form. I'm planning on changing the stock with a Choate or a custom laminate one.

JPwilly,
Mossberg kinda has a rep for cheap guns. They usually leave off the accurate part of the comment. The 100 ATR was reviewed at a sub moa gun for less than 400. The 4X4 has the same action and can be expected to have similar accuracy. My model 44us(a) is moa, and its a .22lr. I haven't heard of a poor shooting mossberg rifle yet.

Here is my Custom Built Model 98 Mauser. Chambered for .308 Winchester Match. Adams&Bennett 1:10" twist, Action job included lug lapping bolt face lapping, Square up reciver. Timmeny sportsman trigger 2.5lbs Fajen Walking Varminteer Stock, Glass Bedded with Acraglas. I shoot 175grain Molly Sierra Matchkings at 2620fps +/- and it will hold .5moa out to 500. Best 100 yard was .185" I have never formally shot at anything longer than 500 though. It has a Moly type coating that my gunsmith likes to do. So far finish holding up well. Some wearing on muzzle. I think Im going to take off the barrel and bead blast it to a stainless matte and re-install. This rifle will never be "Finished" I have been pondering about re-chambering for .300 win mag. 100_1361.jpg

TS2...I think I pee'd a little when I saw that pic. For some reason I started laughing.

Anyway, my 700P in .308 and my first attempt with the rattle-cans:
