...in my bank account

So anyways, I'm sitting there at the computer, when all the sudden, I hear an angelic choir singing, and the entire apartment complex is bathed in light.

Being ultra tacticool, I jump out of my chair, grab my XD, and start toward the door, commando-rolling over and over until I reach my bubba-ized M44 with red dot. I slide my XD into it's holster, and (carrying the rifle at the low ready, of course) walk outside to investigate...

I reach the mailboxes, and there's a strange light emanating from my mailbox... I check left, check right, and plant demolition on the door. Then I hide behind the poolguy's shack and wait for the blast

BOOM!

The door flies off... inside?

my nice...

new....

C&R license :-D

Hmm... now all the sudden my debit card is digging through my crate of milsurp ammo, muttering something about TEOTWAWKI

fitzvh ~

Cute post. :D

Congrats on the C&R. What's your first planned purchase?

pax

Ack! I dunno! So much to choose from!

I may get a good condition M44 first, since I love mine so much. Problem is, its "bubba-ized" because it was nasty as hell when I got it, and useless. I fixed her up and "customized" it, since it was broke to hell anywyas

After that, K31... I posted a shopping list in another thread. It includes...

russian 1938 carbine (laminated stock)
swiss k31
czech vz24
1896 nagant revolver
cz52
mosin 91/59
and a CMP garand :-D

Would anyone think i was wierd if the nagant revolver became my "Barbecue" gun? :D :neener:

Only if you start serving borscht instead of steaks. :p

Congrats to you! A C&R sounds like fun... I wanna get one when I "come of age" :banghead:

Congratulations! Now make copies and send them off post haste!

AIM has those laminted Russian 1938's right now... better hurry!

:D

Alas.... the yugo sks is a no go

See, it's C&R.... but the grenade launcher is verboten in Kali.

No problem right? remove the Grenade launcher and your good right?

*BZZZZZ* wrong again! Now it's no longer C&R!

Anyone know what the legal ramifications of buying it in arizona, modding it there, then bringing it in would be?

James

CZ-52! CZ-52! CZ-52!

Seriously, these things kick ass. Everyone should have at least one and the best part is, they are nearly free....

Congrats on the C&R, if you want my Avery label formatted list of C&R dealers send me an email. Many before you have drained their bank accounts as a result. :D

thefitzvh,

I think that Albanian SKS's are CA legal. That could be a possiblility in place of the Yugo. A lot less hassle, and probably money, than getting one modified. Plus they're kind of rare in their own right.

AIM currently has them too. ;)

Alas, no funds right now....

You know. I'm funny when I'm tired... that last line in my top post is going in the sig...

From beginning to end

So Fitzvh, i'd be interested in hearing about getting a C&R in the PRK, and your experience of it. It would sure help me when I decide to get mine.

Get some sleep first, though. :p

Easy process... one of the few gun things that cali didnt screw up too bad...

get the application here, http://www.cruffler.com/f531016.pdf

Make sure you include the citizenship form here... http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f533020.pdf

If you don't do that, they won't process it.

Send a copy of the first form to your local PD or sheriff, along with a letter explaining WHY you're sending it to them. An example is here...

http://www.cruffler.com/becomingcruffler.html

Allow 4-6 weeks to process once you send them those forms, and your money order... Caveats for the forms are:

Under block 7 you MUST put your info down. Doesn't matter that your info is elsewhere. put it here too. They sent mine back cuz it wasn't right.

Have any more questions, let me know. The only thing that sucks about cali C&R is that pistols don't seem to count in cali, and the guns MUST be 50 years old or older. However, the general concensus is that you can drive outside of the state, say to arizona or nevada, purchase what you please with your C&R, and drive back. You must fill out a handgun importation form if you bring a handgun back, though.

Good Luck!

James

I got my C&R a couple of weeks ago, then sent out about 40 copies. Since then I've bought 3 rifles ( 2 MN 91/30's and a M44) and about 2700 rounds of ammo. This is gonna get REAL expensive when I start finding authentic sniper rifles! :D

Valkman, your bank account is going to hate me....Cole Distributing has authentic M91/30 PU snipers.:D
I'm still waiting for my C&R:fire: over two months now! Oh, well, can't do much with it for a while anyway. I've been finding Mosins at gun shops and shows that I just can't pass up! The Mosin slush fund is depleted for a month or two, so I figure the C&R will show up now, while I'm broke!;)

My shopping list, in order I plan on buying:

Yugo SKS
Czech M98/22
CZ-52
Nagant revolver
M44
M91/30
M39
M91/59
M91/30 PU, or PE sniper

 I am going to be so broke!:what:

As soon as I sent out the copies and waited a few days I called Coles and they were out - now I won't have the money for a few weeks. I guess Coles is a place you can trust so I'll keep checking there. Do you go to THIS C&R FORUM?

If you know some good forums let me in on 'em. :)
