Sick of Polls

I see many threads and appreciate the activism in participating in a poll dealing with firearms. They are normally on websites, or in the newspaper. I always vote in them, and see usually a strong lead for our cause in them, which gives me some hope.

But I'm really sick of them. Why does there need to be a poll about my basic civil liberties? What is the use of these polls? My rights are not a polling issue, but instead I feel these polls are a tool to show that is subjective.

It's sort of like this vs that and that vs this postings. I hate those Or the which gun polls. 99% of those polls forgot to mention someone's gun.
