I am very close to buying one of these. I have held both. The HK is better ergonomically but the price difference is making me think that maybe it isn't that much better. The price difference is $288. Will I regret not spending that money? I realize this is only opinion, but that is what I am looking for.
Thanks.

Honestly, only you can decide if the H&K is worth the extra money or not. I have bought several Sigs in the past six months, but nothing with a polymer frame, and I have no interest in the P2022. I have recently been thinking about getting an H&K P30, and while it feels good in my hand, and the fit and finish are excellent, I also am wary of the price tag. Nonetheless, if money is not an issue for you, then get the one you feel fits you the best, and don't worry about the rest.

I have the 2022, paid 469 2 months ago.
Fired about 200 federal 115 fmj through it this morn.
No jam's ...so far its been perfect.
My only complaint is the grips are
a little wide to me.

I really like my SP2022 in 9mm. I am actually more accurate with it than I am with my HK USP, which I have had for much longer. You will be very pleased with either one, but the SP2022 is a bargain and really an unsung hero in the Sig line.

You could buy a lot of ammo/accessories/a value priced firearm with $289

My 2022 has around 700 rounds through it without a hiccup, never had a problem out of it. Its the sleeper model in Sigs' lineup. The least expensive but the same quality as a 226 or 229.

Thanks

Decision made. Unless a crisis hits or CDNN is out on Monday, I'm getting the Sig.
Again, thanks for the opinions, they do help.
