Well, I think I might have goofed....I bought a Sig 220 in 9 mm- The gun appears to be in acceptable condition, (no range visit yet) but came with only 1 magazine. I could have paid less for an older s&w 9mm, but chose the Sig on reputation, ease of maintenance, etc.

I have tried to find a source for other magazines, without much success...(gun broker has a couple, for around $60.00 per magazine) This is the heel release magazine, BTW. CDNN, MidwayUSA, Numrich, and other websites, have been checked without success.

I like the feel of the gun, and Sig is a highly reputed maker. I would like to keep it, but now wonder if I have bought an "orphan" gun that will cost more than similar 9mm's...

Any ideas on a source for magazines?

Fat Boy, I have one also. The father of the entire 22x series of pistols. Mine is European (mag latch on bottom of frame)... There are mags all over the place. Mine came with one mag, in the last 60 days I've bought 10 more...

The US and Euro mags will work fine in a Euro gun, but without the mag release slots for the US version, the Euro mags will not work in a US gun.

I bought some of mine on GB from $20 to $40, and the rest I got from ammoclip
