Sig 229 question

I have a sig 229 and I am thinking of picking up the 357sig barrel. If I do, will I need to pick up a different set of springs? The shop owner I spoke to said no, I could use the 40S&W springs it came with, but I am leary of that advice.

The Factory spring on the 229 .40S&W is 16 lbs.

The Factory spring on the 229 .357SIG is 17 lbs.

It probably is not going to make that big of a difference, but if you are that concerned about things, go to Wolff and order what you think you need:
