Sig 229 (40) conversion to 9mm, + LaserMax?

I haven't gotten an answer on SigForum, thought I'd try here.

I'm expecting a 9mm Bar-Sto conversion for my Sig 229. I have a LaserMax in the Sig.

The Sig springs are the same (40/9), but the LaserMax requires use of a different spring (40/357 vs 9).

So --- will the Sig 229 with the 9mm barrel require the 9mm LM spring?
