Just asked and found out Sig 239's are 'Made in America". Anyone have one of these, are they as nice as a German made Sig239? I've read people tend to shy away from USA made PPKs.:(

I might be wrong, but I think all SIGs sold in the US are made in USA now except for the P232.

I can't speak for the 239, but a buddy bought a new U.S. made 226 last fall, and I was not a bit impressed.

It had mill shavings & slivers on the slide rails you could skin game with.
I cut my hand taking the slide off to show him how to do it.

I had never seen anything on a German SIG like that before.

Some german imports still make it here (I've seen factory new stainless P226's around, imported from germany - the old style P226ST, not the new elites)). My SIG P232 (bought last year) has a german frame and a US made slide, and it was put together in the US. My SIG P226 though, an original (2007) Blackwater, was made entirely in the US even then, and has been a flawless pistol all along. Both my US SIGs have been great.
