I see no problems dry firing any modern firearm...I use snap caps tho "just-in-case"

Almost all modern firearms are safe to dry fire a million times over, with the exception of .22's!

Sigs (except the Trailside) are OK to dry fire.
Snap caps can't hurt either.

All my Sigs have been dry fired thousands of times. Not only does it help you to become a better shot it helps smooth up the trigger. I never used snap caps but it's probably a good idea.

I dry fire all my guns (centerfire). Haven't had a problem yet from shotguns, handguns, or rifles...
