Sig 550/551 rifle to come in 2006 for $1000

everytime I forget the SIG550/551 series existed, someone brings it up again and I have to cry myself to sleep for a week. :(

I don't really have $1k to blow on a rifle but I'd try pretty hard to come up w/ it for a Sig 550 or maybe even better a 551. $1500 would just be too high for me to justify for a single rifle, even if it really is worth it. Hell I've been avoiding a AR cause I don't want to shell out even $700, I'm too cheap (or too broke, hmm).

I place no hope really in them offering one for $1000 or under, if they manage it major kudos would be in order and I'd try to buy one...

Bwaaaahaha. I do like big butts. But I want both of those. Actually, boofus, it IS an easy choice. The top one is Santa Claus. The bottom one is the girl next door (actually exists). :)
 
Does anyone have any word on the civ Steyr Aug's which were supposed to be coming out in '06?

I would love for all of this news to be true, but I still don;t believe any of it.
