A lot of questions have come up over the past 24 hours about the new Sig Kilo 2400. Hopefully addressing them in a page that gets a lot of traffic will help. Here are just some of the questions:

1) If you want to pre-order you can. Here: https://store.appliedballisticsllc.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=6001

2) The new 2200MR does not have Bluetooth. 5% improvement over the 2000.

3) The 2400 is a 25% improvement over the SK2000, and 20% over the SK2200MR

4) If you need specifics I have updated this page: http://appliedballisticsllc.com/products/devices/sig-sauer-kilo-2400-abs/

5) If you want info on the app: http://appliedballisticsllc.com/products/apps/sig-kilo-2400abs-lrf-app/

6) No, you don't need the app for anything other than loading profiles

7) It does work in Mils and MOA

8) Yes, you can see all the sensor readings if you wish in the app.

9) Ship Date is sometime around or after SHOT Show

10) Street Price is 1500$

11) The details of what you get in this kit you can see on the product page, you get a lot for the price. Its complete so you shouldn't need to source the other parts.

12) If you need to see how it compares in performance, it beat out range finders costing more than 2000$, you can see this in Modern Advancements Vol 2 page 192. However if you go on Long Range Hunting, Andy has done a review, in which he compared the G7 vs the Kilo 2400 ABS. http://www.longrangehunting.com/for...ed-ballistics-178180/index16.html#post1266746

13) This is a HARDWARE upgrade form the Sig 2000, and Sig 2200MR. The 2400 is not the same on the inside, and does have some performance upgrades, including the glass used.

14) If you want to take a peek at the user manual to answer some questions here you go: http://www.appliedballisticsllc.com/User Guides/SigKilo2400Manual.pdf

15) Yes it will automatically adjust for inclination (If you set to AMR Angle Modified Ranging). Or you can pick LOS (Line of Sight).

16) If you set it to (NO PRO) or no profile, you can have it report in Density Altitude where it would normally report our Elevation/Windage.

17) You can manually set wind speed, and direction. Or set wind to 0 in the device. However its easier to do in the app. The choice is yours, further emphasizing the app is not needed once profiles are loaded.

18) Beam divergence is wicked small, giving you some fantastic ranging abilities.

19) Reticle is an adjustable milling reticle. You can turn off and adjust the milling portion if you want. It also has a smaller targeting reticle than the other Sig Kilos to assist with long range ranging.

20) Elevation. No it does not read or report elevation. It reads and reports station pressure and density altitude. Elevation is only needed for barometric pressure readings, which this device does not do, and is really not ideal for shooting solutions.

21) MV Change with Temp Change, Spin Drift, Horizontal Coriolis, Vertical Coriolis, Aerodynamic Jump. You can also run G1, G7, and Custom Drag Models.

22) Unlike other range finders, there is no ballistic range limitation. If you can range it, you can get a firing solution.

23) You can do a ballistic calibration on it if you wish. It is further refined so that you can do a Muzzle Velocity Calibration or a Drop Scale Factor (Adjusts the Mach vs CD information)

24) Please take the time to read the specs on the device to see what it features.

Just trying to knock out some common questions, and if you have any please ask here.
