Anyone got some that work out well? I have an 8" MPX as an SBR, and I need some backup irons for it. I am a bit concerned because a lot of internet people seem to suggest that they can't get standard AR-15 backup front sights to adjust low enough to zero because the MPX is taller from the bore to the rail because of the recoil springs.

Sig doesn't sell MPX backup iron sights anymore, but the dumb Romeo 1 red dot I had on mine pooped out, so I'm looking for backups.

My 8" MPX that I sold came with iron sights that were fine. I have a three POF ARs that have the same "issue" with the top of the Picatinny rail being 1/2" taller than standard so I run the Troy micro flip up sights on one of the P415s . There are more than a few micro sights to choose from.

By the way, how accurate/precise is your MPX? I had to send mine back and it didn't get any better with the replacement barrel. I finally sold it and bought a B&T TP9-N which is half the weight and 10X more accurate. I've owned SIG products since 1992 and this was the first issue I've had in all those years. I still own three P220s, two P225s, a P239, a P320 and the first P220 I bought 30 years ago. I've owned and sold quite a few P220s over the years.
