Hi all. After buying a sig p220 elite dark yesterday I started reading up more on the reports of the rear adjustable sight becoming loose after shooting. It seemed that there were a lot of reports about this on many of the different forums. Has anyone here had experience with this? I'm trying to figure out how common the rear sight coming loose really is and what a good fix for it would be as after reading all the posts about I'm almost expecting mine to start sliding around after the first 100 rds. Is this something loc-tite could take care of? I know that Gray's Guns actually makes a fixed rear sight exactly for this gun because Sig has claimed that standard fixed sig sights and after market sights don't fit the slide. Has anyone here had this experience with their adjustable rear sight on the Sig elite series? If so what was your fix? I don't really want to send the slide off any where or go the loctite route but a rear sight that won't stay put is a big deal to me. Other than the sight issue I love the pistol. Thanks for your feedback.
