Searched around quite a bit and can't seem to find any range reports on the Sig Sauer P220 match. Was fondling one today in the SAO configuration and loved it. If anyone here has one or knows of a good review or range report I can look up please post here. Barring any unforseen events I will be plunking down some money on the one I saw today come friday, and picking her up next friday. Also any info on parts and or accessories for this model would be greatly appreciated. Am guessing it's going to be a challenge to find holsters for ccw due to the longer slide.

(update) OK I went ahead and put the initial downpayment on the Sig today. Am getting it for $1000.00 even plus tax. Should take posession next thursday (going to be a long week). Expect to get some range time in on saturday. The wife to be will be joining me so I'll be sure to take notes on her opinion as well for those of you smaller handed shooters. Still hoping someone will post with any info they may have that may be useful to me.

I have a 220Match DA/SA. I have only shot about 300 rounds through it so far but I like it. I am not real great at groups even off a rest due to some nerve issues in my hands so I let my nephew shoot a couple groups with it. At 20yds he put a couple sub 1" groups together so it seems to live up to its advertised accuracy. About the only thing I don't like about it are the sights. I am not a fan of the big rear blade. And on a gun designated as a "Match" gun, I would rather have a FO sight like a Dawson. I am probably going to send mine to GrayGuns and have the trigger worked over and see if they can mill the rear sight blade profile to something similar to the Warren sights I have on most of guns.

I guess the cost is a bit higher down in FL.. Mine was $859

$859 is a great price! Just a little less than I sell them for .
:D
You might hate me for saying this, seeing as you've plunked down some cash, but I've got one for sale in my Sig ad in the classifieds. It's going for quite a bit less than you're paying, NIB shipping included.

If you have any interest, drop me a PM for pricing. I also just got the 220 Super Match in stock as well.

Regardless, you've made an excellent choice in firearms. You're gonna love it, they're absolute tack drivers.
