I took out my new P220ST a couple of days ago. The pistol takes a little getting used-to when you come from a 1911 background...but it's pretty accurate and has nice recoil characteristics.

One issue: why would 90% of my brass show that the firing pin had dragged on the primer? Is this a timing issue, or something that will go away with break-in? All ammo fired was 230 gr; some Winchester white box and the rest CCI.

On a potentially related note, the gun's POI is about 4" high at 15 yds (and 1" left, but that can be fixed).

What's happening?

Thanks all,
Rich

my 220st doesn't do it, but it is know to happen in guns, in fact my 1076 does it just a smidge. You could try putting a beefier recoil spring in, but I doubt that would change anything

Supposedly a purpose design. The firing pin sticks out a bit on extraction and firing in order to keep gunk out of the firing pin channel.
