What are your thoughts on this gun, besides the high price tag? I sold my P30 and am thinking of getting one of these to replace it. Thanks
 
It's gonna be HEAVY, first off, which is good for accuracy but not for carry. If it has those front cocking serrations it may just chew the crap out of the insides of some of your holsters. I have an ST, which is similar, and love the crap out of it so far.
 
It wont be used for carry. Just for plinking and punching paper. They seem to hold value quite well also, and they look flippn NICE.
 
I love Sigs. I have many and think they are just fantastic. That being said, I have always wondered about their line of "tricked out" guns. These would be the Platinun Elite, Equinox, Blackwater.... etc. I buy guns and shoot the crap out of them. If I wanted to buy to look and and hang on the wall I would get a platinum Elite. They always seemed so silly to me. Just my opinion but a 226 Platinum Elite does not function any better than a plain jane 226.
