Sig P228 Magazine interchangeable?

Happy Monday!

Firstly, I'm creating this post with my nifty PDA. I hope it doesn't come out all sorts of messed up.

I tried searching, but sadly came up with no answers to what might be a rudimentary question.

Will Sig P226 magazines work in the P228 and vice versa?

I was looking to track down a KT Sub-2K for the P226 (dont have one for the P228) with the hopes that it could share magazines with the P228.

If so, it justifies the purchase and makes me a happy camper. If not, well I guess I may have to consider another pistol to go along with the Sub 2-K.

226 Mags will work in a 228 but not vice versa. 226 mags are longer so they will stick out of the 228 a bit. 228 mags are too short to fit into the 226 though.

Thanks Josh... That is pretty much as good of a response as I could ask for.

So that basically means that I can run the Kel-Tec Sub 2k with 226 magazines and also use them in my P228.

It's so nice being able to justify new purchases in my head. I'm not sure if that makes my sickness any better though, but at least it sounds good. ;-)
