Sigs have been following me home a lot lately. The latest model to follow me home was a sig p229 dark elite.
This is sweetest handgun, I've ever shot. It was a pleasure to shoot. I bought it yesterday, and put 400 rounds through it today. This is the most accurate I've ever shot.
Twenty one feet=1 ragged hole
Thirty feet= fist sized group.
Sixty feet I put five rounds in the 9 ring.
That's the first time I've shot a handgun out to 60 feet.
The trigger in it is the same that's in my p220 but for some reason felt even better. I know the str is the same across the various models that have it but this just felt perfect.
Sig really makes quality products.
I'm throwing a retirement part for my long time partner Mr. Glock19.
It was my do it all gun, but I think I found its replacement.
I know with out pictures it didn't happen, but my pc won't let me use thr.
I'm on a kindle and no idea how to get a pick up now.

Glad it works that good for you. I shot a P232 not to long ago and man that thing was accurate! I might have to try some SIGs soon...

I shot a 226 a long time ago and could get pretty good groups (for me), but was when I thought that the biggest thing you could CC was either a baby Glock or a j-frame.

Trust me I know what you mean. I have bought four Sigs as of lately. A Sig P220R, P229R, a C3 1911, and a Sig 516 rifle. I think there is a pattern here..lol. Sig makes great firearms, I couldn't be happier with my purchases. Just going to warn you though, one becomes two, two becomes four..etc

I have the c3 1911 as well it's been great so far. I haven't even had to buy high dollar mags for. The two that came with it have been fine. The p220 is great I love mine, but something about me and the 229 elite just clicked. I've never shot so well. I still love my other brands of firearms in the safe, it just seems I shoot the sigs the best. The 229 seems to fit all roles except a woods gun.
