I heard that the Sig p229 is made of steinless steel and duraluminium.
Is the duraluminium good or bad for the gun?

Same stuff they use in the flux capacitor, you're good to go.

Duraluminum is an alloy of aluminum with copper. It was one of the earliest aluminum alloys and it can be heat treated.

So there will be no problems

Usually not, Sigs have an outstanding reputation for durability and achieving a very high round count during it’s service, its not uncommon to talk with Sig owners who have between 50 and 100 thousand rounds through theirs with nothing more then the occasional standard spring replacements.

Sorry, this sounded like the "IT" term "Unobtanium." It is a rare metal used in products that have hyped releases
