A friend of mine is trying to find one of these. Heck we are trying to find out anything about these. Does any body know what the P226R DAK or the P229R DAK is selling for and if anyone knows who has any?

Good luck finding one. Sig just won a contract to supply Homeland Security with these babies. The DAKs are going to be scarce for a while!
 
Maybe we can get one for what the Dept. Of Homeland Security paid.

I had a Sig 226R DAK. It was a nice gun and perfectly reliable, I just couldn't get used to the long reset.

The trigger pull, while smooth, is just a little too heavy for me at 6.5lbs. It made follow up shots just a hair more difficult, especially when going for speed.

I weighed these negatives, and as much as I'd liked to have kept it, a Glock or a regular DA/SA Sig is just better FOR ME.
