First of all, thanks to all of you who help finalize my decision to get the Sig p239. I went to my favorite gun shop and traded my Ruger P89 and some cash for the Sig and I can't say I regret it. The Sig is almost as easy to break down as my Steyr, but it points just as naturally as the Steyr does. In double action it is much lighter than the Ruger and as smooth as silk. In single action the trigger resembles a top quality 1911. As far as the way it feels in hand it is perfectly small, any smaller and I would have a hard time holding on to it and it's small enough that when my wife picked it up it gave her thoughts of getting a CCW for herself ( I won't hold my breath). I know a lot of people said stay away for Hogue grips for CCW but I really like they way they feel so much that I think it would out weigh any problems I have hanging on my shirt (which most of the time it would be carried IWB with the shirt tucked in). The sites are good, very is to line up. The only thing that I've had get use to is the slide release, it lays real flat against the frame and I have a hard time getting it to release. I have only got to shoot it once since I had it, but I was happy with the results after the first two shots. I was shooting at about 8 yards and the first 2 shots I anticipated and hit way low, after that I got use to the gun and started tearing up the bulls eye. I was using the Winchester value pack 9mm and the gun gobbled them up. I never have been one to use a bunch of different ammo so I just assume it will shoot other manufactures 9mm without a problem. The Sig was a little snappier than the Ruger was, but that didn't surprise me. The Ruger is about twice as big as the Sig and considering the difference it wasn't bad. All in all I'd say I made a wise choice. Now the only problem is deciding what I want next.
