Sig replacement/conversion barrel

I'm considering buying what is described to be a "Sig Sauer Factory Replacement / Conversion Barrel" for my Sig 2340 to convert it to .357 Sig from .40 S&W. Does anyone have any experience with such a barrel or knowledge as to the reliability or any requirements for special fitting to the gun? In other words, is it just a simple drop-in barrel that works reliably?
