Help!! I'm having a terrible time getting this thing back together. After breaking it down and a good cleaning with no problems, the slide catch lever will not permit the slide to go forward. The lever will snap into place but for some reason the slide is stuck. Anybody have a solution? Thanks.

put the magazine in and try.... Same thing happened to me. You have to be patient and work it slowwly. My hand got tired form holding the slide and I was very fructrated. I put the whole thing down and was able to put it together and hour later. Check Sigforum.com they have lots of info on the SP2022. You'll see that others including myself had the same problem. Thanks. I solved the problem which was my fault. The slide catch lever does not go in the same way it comes out. The notch that you line up with the lever to take it out is not the same position that you put it back in. You take the slide all the way back to battery, insert the slide catch lever until it is almost fully inserted and then you line it up with the notch, snap it all the way in and let the slide go forward. Simple and easy if you know what you're doing.
