Pardon my ignorance  but I just picked up my first Sig (239) last night and the sights have 1 dot up front(Duh ;) ) and 1 at the rear center,my question is do I cover the front dot with the rear,or just set it below the front dot as I line it up :scrutiny: I'm so confused

the standard sights on a P239 should be a white dot on the front sight and a white square on the rear, at the bottom of the notch.

Simply line up the white dot so it rests on top of the white square. The tops of the front and rear sight should be level.

I agree, it seems more straight forward than lining up three dots, or a blade in a notch, etc...

These sights on the Sig are one reason why I decided to spend the extra $$$ on a Sig instead of a CZ.

Are these sights a Sig thing, or a European thing, or ???

Why aren't they more popular in the US?
