You are using the old High Contrast theme. We have installed a new dark theme for you, called UI.X. This will work better with the new upgrade of our software. You can select it at the bottom of any page.
You can reduce trigger pull by changing out the 24 LB hammer spring to a lighter one from Wolff gun springs. But don't get to carried away going to light on the hammer spring or you may set off harder primers found in some ammunition.
Keep in mind the hammer spring also has another function. A hammer spring assist the recoil spring in controlling slide velocity. West German P226 uses about a 15 pound recoil spring. So you should get a slightly stronger fresh recoil spring such as around 16 LB or 18 LB (depending on power level of ammo) if you drop the hammer spring down to around 18, 19, 20 LBS.
