The X-Fve Competition lacks the adjustable trigger, though I don't see a need to adjust the trigger on mine. Nill sells the grips that come with the X-Five, though they will have "KN" (Karl Nill) on them instead of "Sig-Sauer." Here's mine with Nill #SS0858 grips installed, and ith the factory magwell removed (I live in California, and the magwell makes little sense when using the 10-round magazines):

Will you please not post that picture. I bought a PC 952 over the X-5 Comp. It upsets me when I see that beautiful, real life looking, I want to reach inside my computer and grab it, photo.

Why can't you just take blurry, crappy photo's like the rest of us? From a friend that owns the X-5, the X-5 Comp lacks some of the hand fitting of the X-5. According to him the X-5 Comp is built to a price point and the X-5 is built to a standard. His X-5 is rediculously accurate, stone reliable, and nice to shoot. If it wasn't so incredibly heavy and capacity challenged I would buy one too, for most US competition shooting Sig seriously missed the mark with the entire X-5 line.

The X-5 L1 and the X-Five Comp are exactly the same, with the exception of the L1's adjustable trigger and fancy grips. I spent some time investigating what you suggested, with the factory and with others, and concluded there were no differences other than trigger and grips.
The weight of the X-5 is an asset. It feels as if you are shooting .22LR pistol. And if you run out of ammo, you can always use the X-5 to split the skull of a bad guy wide open.
