I bought a universal adjustment tool and was wondering how tight can a crank it down without damaging my slide? I am having problems with slide twisting when i try to apply enough pressure to move the sights.

What gun? If its your P938 get a 4-6" piece of 3/16" square brass key stock to use for a punch. Pre-soak with Break Free for a hour or so then use a hammer with the slide in a soft jaw vice. I don't remove the slide. That is how Sig Tech Support says to do it. Push out right to left and in left to right. I don't know why.

It was actually my SR9c and thats how I ended up doing it
