Sight Mark laser bore sighter

Hello. Does anyone have any experience with the Sight Mark laser bore sighter? Is it okay to dry fire on it? I'm using the .30-06 version in a Winchester Model 70.

It's a decent cat toy.

We sold them where I used to work part-time. Judging by the number of returns we received I wouldn’t buy one for any reason.

I wouldn’t dry fire with one inserted.
