I've got an airsoft pistol that i use for dry fire practice in the winter and when ammo and gas are expensive.

it shoots about an inch and a half high tough. tight pattern and consistant but high.

what is it i need to do to get it to shoot point of aim? the sights arent adjustable, they are just molded plastic, so i know i have some filing to do.

ive never sighted a pistol before all mine are fixed sight guns.

can anyone give me some pointers?

The easiest thing for me to remember is this:

Which ever way you want the bullet impact to go, you move the REAR SIGHT IN THAT DIRECTION. If your shot is hitting low, move the rear sight up, and vice versa. If your shot is hitting to the left, move the rear sight to the right.

However, your sights are plastic. With your gun shooting high, I would suggest filing a little off the top of the rear blade. If that makes your rear notch smaller, file it down a little lower also. This should force you to bring your muzzle down, getting your point of impact where you need it.

File a little at a time - not too much at once! Good luck.
