LGS got a couple of the M spec models in.
Checked YT and other, got decent reviews, so bought one to slap on a DD offset.
Play with that and if I don't like an offset sight, yank and put on my 870 for turkey.
Yeah, in the shade, early early morning, overcast..........last day of season and unable to see the beads, I missed a whopper.

My arse still burning over that one.

Of course I can't find a used 870 to D&T right now.
Like to find a 26 or 28" older Express Supermagnum.

Leave mine as is.

The Leupold Freedom 3-9X and Mark AR mount are off the AR.
Ordered an HS Precision stock for my 700, so that will be my yote rig.
Keeping the 3-9X but will post the mount in the classifieds if it doesn't sell at work tonight.

The Leupold mount is good, didn't mark up my scope, all Torx screws, but it isn't the lightest of mounts. On a varmint gun who cares.
This AR is an M4 bbl and I figured a .243 win has more zap out yonder on yotes.
So going with my 700 for Mr. Wile. E (after deer season).

So went reflex clocked on the AR (Daniel Defense 1 oclock mount).
The Sightmark does not have shake n wake.
Does supposedly have auto shutoff after lengthy time.

Hopefully hit the range this weekend and see how it does.
Who knows, might buy a 2nd one for a turkey gun LOL.

I haven’t used the Sightmark micro RDS’s, but have used a few of their longer body, open type RDS’s. Nothing fancy, but they work reliably and hold zero. For the price I’m usually willing to pay when I ever consider Sightmark, they deliver well.

I've used the older mini reflex, and been exceedingly happy with them. One lived on gun after gun for over 8 years, including my .458 socom, and 12ga tacticool. Dropped its gun hard enough to curl the hood over. Bent it back straight with a leatherman and kept using it.
Bought 3 or so more, and gave them away when ever someone NEEDED sights for something, so they have been on ARs, bolt guns, all kindsa stuff.

I've had some experience with their scopes also, and while I wouldn't buy one, they do work surprisingly well.

@Hookeye that looks like a hard steer with your off-set, which may just be the picture. If not, have you considered a MLOK pic rail mounted starboard?

I’ve never really taken a good look at Sightmark as they don’t seem to have much of a following around here (that I’m aware of). Let us know how it works for you, especially if it’s daylight bright.

Yeah 60 degrees was too much.
Added rail to M lok free float slim handguard after work and went vertical so is 30 degrees.

Still sits out a bit.

Actually 60.degrees was doable w my big head, but better would have been 45.
Of course rhe DD is 1 oclock so its 30 or 60 LOL.

30 it is.

If I dont like it yank the reflex and put on my turkey gun. No big deal.

May end up w diff mount and go up top w it ( still clocked ).

Not a fan of stuff bolted to forends

Honestly I would look at a fiber optic iron sight on the barrel as a better option for a turkey gun. When it's dim enough outside to loose the brass beads, you may very well see the reflex sight just fine but be unable to see the turkey still while looking through it.

i use a burris fastfire 3 with a barrel rib mount on a turkey shotgun extra barrel, come turkey season i just switch barrels and as its was already sighted in, no adjustments needed.

Aimtech made a "rib rider" but I dunno if still around.
Several similar on auction sites, dunno which import models are better.
I don't do Amazon.

Am not against a dedicated (drilled and tapped) turkey gun. Like my 870 Express Supermag 23" VR RC quite a bit.
Have not found another used one (yet) ;)

Unfortunately, I am not a fan of fiber optics (as beads or sights on guns).
I understand what you are saying...noticed way back on an archery multi pin sight, that in low light, all that glowing made my eye focus there, and the deer behind would fade away.
Solved that by going small SINGLE PIN fiber optic sight (HHA) and no more mass of glow w short focus.

Fwiw my 870 supermag is a turkey model w 2 beads. The middle disappeared in the shadows one early morning. They work well as sights.... the double beads.....when you can see em LOL

LGS got 223 in so can mess w thw reflex sight this weekend.....watch it rain, be my kinda luck LOL

Supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon.
Hopefully mow my yard before the rain.
No .223 or 9mm locally now.
Only 1 guest at a time at my club ($5 charge).
The ol lady wants to shoot, but I might take shorty if she feels up to it.
May run centerfire tomorrow (after rain), rimfire sunday.

The ol lady has a TRS25 on her 1022. She might like the reflex better.
LGS has 2 more in stock.
She can buy her own LOL

The only thing I have with the Sightmark name on it, a small open red dot, crapped out, so .........

Lined my irons up on target at 25 yds and leaned over to see where the 1 oclock reflex dot was. Adjusted it w small screwdriver supplied and then shot to verify.
Was tiny bit right.
3 shots and it was top of 1" bull.
Set a bunch of clays on the 25 yard bank and proceeded to nuke them in rapid fashion.

Checked impact at 50.

Goodness. It makes shooting so easy. And fast. Burned a couple mags and there was nothing left to shoot. Even little pcs vaporized.

This thing is a hoot.

If it holds up Ill be pretty happy with it.

It is a little odd rotating the gun but you get the hang of that real quick.
Moved the tele up a notch, seemed to help.

Other AR has Leupold boat anchor rds cowitness.

They are now ready for the games to begin.
