sights on sig guns

For the life of me, my eyes can barely see the sights on my 226. I usually shoot the glock because of this, but i like the feel of the 226 a little better after i got used to it.

Is there any aftermarket products worth their price that could improve this? or any glock styled sights i could throw on it?

Have you tried smoking the sights with a candle flame to make them completely black?

I find the SIG white dots to be so bright & huge, the sights wash out in bright sunlight. I suppose they would be good in low light conditions.

Anyway, I replaced those on my P6 with Meprolite night sights after the first daytime shooting session.
Much better!
