Thanks for posting this. Signed today, with yet another plea for an intelligent
approach to guns, not the usual brainless anti-gun position held by some Democrats.

I am a lifelong Dem, and a shooter since age 10. I have carried a gun everywhere I go foe nearly 15 years, and cannot abide the stupid anti-gun position of some Very vocal Democrats. There are millions of gun-owning Democrats, and we have been trying to make our voices heard to the Democratic Party for some time now.

Thanks again for another opportunity to do so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't H.R. 1022 already dead?

Looks like it was never voted on in either House or Senate. At the above site, it is said "Because this bill was introduced in a previous session of Congress, no more action can occur on it."

Not wanting to rain on anyones parade, but I think this bill is over. And, I am VERY Pro-Gun, but if it is history, then why sign?
