OK, which would you prefer if you can only have one ?
Possible reasons: FUN.....CCW.....NITESTAND......

I have the SIGPRO but I have the "itchies" for the KAHR CW9....
They are both high quality guns......what's not to like ???

Your choice is just for the NEWBIES (like myself) to peruse.....
Just for fun.......:)

Depends on which of the three functions is most important to you.

(I had a 2022 with a stock .357 SIG barrel and a Bar-Sto 9mm conversion barrel, and also had the similar (to the CW9) Kahr P9.)

The SIG isn't particularly small, and would be less handy for concealed carry, but for range use or home defense, it would arguably be better. The extra rounds, which you'd probably never need for concealed carry, are a comfort at the range. You may like them for home defense, too..

For concealed carry, the CW9 would excel.

In my experience, both guns are comfortable to shoot, reliable, and accurate.

No one gun is going to be the best for all three things you mentioned. Just get the CW9 when you can afford it or save a little longer and get the P9; I like the extra little additions on the P9 that are excluded with the less expensive CW9.

I agree with Walt Sherrill.

The CW9 is the superior CCW gun and the SigPro 2022 would be the superior nightstand gun.

The SigPro is about the size of a Sig 229, but has a better out of the box trigger...and it is available for <$400

The CW9 has become my EDC because of the comfortable size (thinness) and the trigger is just so sweet

You need to determine what you need most: ccw or nightstand. Then make you decision based on that. Both guns are outstanding. One drawback for my buying the 2022 was poor ergonomics for me. I have small hands and the grip presented some problems for me. The Kahr has proved to be one of the most accurate firearms that i have ever used.

They are two completely different pistols....
I never cared for the feel or look of the 2022...go for the CW9, its a great value, easy as hell to carry and fun to shoot.

Not a Kahr fan. Their steel guns are ok but their polys are too hit or miss for me to every consider laying down the coin they demand for them.

I own a SP2022 and use it as house gun. With night sights 3 mags it was a steal for around $400. These days the cheaper ones you can get at the $400 level no longer come with night sights and IIRC come with only 2 mags. They are being built here instead of Germany and have had some parts changes.

It sounds like the OP already owns one. So if you want the Kahr to add to the collection go for it.

Good answers from you guys......
I ran over to SHOOTERS WORLD and put the CW9 in my hand..
It IS an awesome little gun, probably the perfect size for carry.

I know KAHRS (SIG's as well) have a great reputation, even though you can find a number of people that have had issues with them, I'm not concerned about that, I wouldn't hesitate to "pull the trigger" on any KAHR, and my SP2022 is my 3rd SIG, wish I hadn't sold the previous two.

I'm shopping for a nice OWB holster for my SP2022, I think I'll carry this for a few weeks and then see if this fits for CCW.

Do any of you carry the SP2022?
