Has anyone used silly puddy to hunt deer with? Would you use the pink silly puddy or the green silly puddy?

I only have $.31 to spend on deer hunting this year so please don't recommend anything that is time tested and proven and will work reliably.

With only $.31 i would go with the green silly puddy. It tends to blend in with deers natural habitat better than pink. Or make a spear head from a soda can.

See what you do is you put the silly putty on one deer and copy it. You then set the copy up in the woods and wait for another deer to show up. Then, BAM!!!

Just like the newspapers. Good point Mike maybe he should go with that biege color.

Frustrated?

Greg?

This wouldn't be the product of a moment of frustration consequent to trying to talk sense to someone new to hunting, would it?

Or are we just blowing off steam?

Edit to add:

Ahh. I see it now. Got it.

This would be a sample of "irony" in the wild.

Arfin,

So what do you think, green or pink?

I think the green may well have a bit more knock down than the pink. Better S.D. and all. But the tan may well expand better on deer sized game.

Putty

Well, I'm kind of a traditionalist.

I prefer to use the "putty" spelling, and I've never had a problem with the original "flesh" colored stuff.

More modernly, the green has become popular, but you have to be sensitive to the environmental damage caused by the later dyes used to get that color.

Expansion has never really been an issue for me. I started expanding right around age 42, and I'm up to a 38-inch waist.

Stay with the original.

Old fat guys like me know what we're talking about.
