I have Lee, RCBS, Hornady dies. For my Lee Turret press. No general problems.

I wish to finally buy a new Dillon 9x25 Die Set L85-14601. Dillon has some language that only seems to confuse me about apparently other die sets that are unique to the Square B deal press. I ASSUME the Dillon 9x25 Die Set L85-14601 will fit my Lee Turret press. Please confirm.

Thanks!:D

It's my understanding that only the Dillon dies for that press will work.

P.S. I've been known to be wrong before.

Yes, they're 7/8" x 14 threads, the same as your other brands of dies. The expander that comes with that set will only work with their powder measure, but if you have an expander for 357 Sig, or any other similar round, it will work perfectly.

Hope this helps.

Fred

Square Deal B uses proprietary dies, unlike common dies, with unique threads. To get dies for THAT press, you have to specifically order a Dillon caliber conversion kit for that press. Forget that press--it has nothing to do with you or the Dillon dies you buy as Dillon dies.
Dillon dies that you buy are just common thread dies for their other presses and all other presses.

Special note about Dillon Pistol 3 die sets: they do not come with an expander die, and rather have a separate crimp die. "Regular" three die sets have a combo seat/crimp die, and an expander die. This is because the Dillon dies are intended to be used on progressive machines, with expanding happening at the powder charge station.
This was a little unclear when I first started out. May not apply to you in this case,
Carry on.

I did notice that. I'm going to have to experiment a little. I believe my first rookie mistake was too much flare, and now I am pretty fine tuned as to just how little is needed. I will be curious as to the brass mouth after the sizing die. I'm not using my Lee as a progressive station for 9X25, so there is that as well.

OilyPablo,

Just an FYI. You can buy many Dillon products at

He sells 9x25 die sets for $137.95 and $9.99 shipping. His prices match those on the Dillon site but has lower shipping as far as I have seen.

I have bought from his site many times. Plus it has an excellent set of forums though they are generally focused on competition shooting.
