For those of you who haven’t tried “sight painting” before.
Items need:
1-Scissors or razor blade
2-I.P.A.
3-Nail polish remover.
4-Q-Tips.
5-White polish, polish; color of your choice, clear polish.
6-Painters tape.
7-Lots of paper towels and newspaper.
1-Clean entire sight with I.P.A.
2-Using painter’s tape, mask off areas you don’t want polish on.
3-Remember that PROPER PREP is the KEY between an OK job
and a GREAT job.
4-Apply 2 thin coats of white polish as your primer. Allow to dry 10 – 15 minuets between coats.
5-Apply 2 – 3 thin coats of your main color choice. Allow to dry 10 – 15 minuets between coats.
6-Remove tape from sides of sight, then check for any voids (touch up as needed) or bleed over, (using nail polish remover remove as needed).
7-When nail polish is completely dry, apply 2 thin coats of clear polish. Allowing to dry 10 –15 minuets between coats.
