I have seen it on here before where one would place some finger nail polish on the front bead sight to help with sight acquisition. I have a Remington 870 Police Magnum with the brass front bead sight. I have future plans for ghost ring style sights but for the time being I need something else. So what colors do you all suggest for this? I was thinking like a neon green, but I do not know what the other members have used. Opinions and thoughts please?

Daylight = Any bright color you like.

Night or dim light = White every time, no question!

I use bright orange fingernail polish that has worked very well on my hunting shotguns. I agree if you are going for low light use white.

Testor's Bright Yellow enamel on the HD 870, Bright White on the one more likely to be pointed at the shoulder of a deer.

So model paint as well to? I will have to look into that Dave. Thanks!

Wet n' Wild #404....Well this is for HD purposes, so yellow might be better.

Also, this is community defense gun as well, so would yellow still be appropriate?

And why yellow?

Yellow sticks out as such in low light.

FYI, most of my carry handguns are similarly decorated.

As for CD, yes.

And if for some reason you decide it's not good, t'is easily removed.
