Ruger isn't likely to make one, as it is too big to fit the current Blackhawk frame dimensions, and would probably have to be a 5 shot to work in the current diameter cylinder. Gary Reeder is offering a 500 S&W single action based on his stretched 5 shot Ruger Blackhawk frame. According to his websight it will run you $2500 and a mere 9 month wait. There is also the Magnum Research BFR (which they intend to mean Biggest, Finest Revolver, but that is subject to interpretation). It is basically a lengthened Ruger Blackhawk and is offered in a myriad of calibers, including .22 Hornet, .454, .444, .45-70, and now even the big .500. While not a custom bullet hurler with your name engraved on the barrel, it is about 1/3 the cost and avilable in a few days wait from most sources. Customers who have bought them from my work seem to be pleased with the .500s. The .45-70 .454 versions worked well and were accurate when I gave them a test drive.
