Nope, just a CAS shooter and experienced in making sure that the hammer is down on an empty chamber for safety. SASS rules mandate this even for single action revolvers with transfer bars, such as the Rugers, which can be carried safely with six, but this is critical with the revolver in the picture, since it has a hammer mounted firing pin.
Rule 3: Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
I heartily agree with this rule, and appreciate same when taking photos. But in a photo like this, it looks like the sights are on the target ... so why not finger on the trigger?
